Shyriah Marshall, PhD is the founder and Principal Consultant of Marshall Career Consulting,  LLC specializing in resume writing, interview preparation, and organizational development. Shyriah’s compassion for career consulting began at a very young age as she was would watch her hero - her mom - as she performed resume revamps for family members and friends. For over 10 years, Shyriah has provided unique approaches to assisting clients with changing careers, improving performance, and even transitioning into being entrepreneurs. Shyriah prides herself in providing the best service for each client and fostering long lasting client relationships. 

In addition to her work as a Career Consultant, Shyriah enjoys writing, reading, and social media. She is also cofounder of The New Kids, LLC - a podcast hosted by Detroit Natives who spread knowledge and share the stories of other local entrepreneurs.

Shyriah believes in the importance of education, instilled in her by her biggest inspiration - her grandfather (who everyone affectionately calls Papa). Shyriah holds a Bachelor's Degree from Peru State College (Peru, NE) in Human Performance and Systems Management, two Masters Degrees - one from Peru State College in Organizational Management with a focus in Economic and Entrepreneurial Development and another from Walden University in Philosophy: IO Psychology. Shyriah also holds a PhD from Walden University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a focus in Leadership & Coaching. Her PhD work focused on burnout, call centers, and employee engagement.
